Fred Espenak, Me (Greg Babcock) and Mel Bartels with 94mm Brandon APO Refractor.  Telescope mounted on a GM8 Losmandy Equatorial Mount. 747-400 In-rout  from Atlanta.  Temporarily disembarking for a fuel stop at Sal Island.  The Airport Terminal reminded me of an old Greyhound Bus Station.

:  It is a long flight and is part of a series of flights to get to and from our destination.  Many of us concregated toward the rear of the cabin to stretch our legs.  This is a view out the back of the plane as we travel East toward New York with the rising Sun behind us.
